It features oil-filled shocks, steel frame rails and a smooth-running drivetrain meaning it genuinely goes: over rocks, through long grass, straight into the stream.
It's just as happy indoors, so a rock garden in the back garden and a stack of books in the living room are both fair game.
Power comes from a 750mAh 2-cell 7.4V good for over an hour of driving, and the supplied USB charger tops it back up.
Add soft-compound tyres, 4-link suspension geometry, a low centre of gravity and big approach angles, and there's very little it won't climb.
