With over 500,000 previous winners and over £60 million given away in prizes, it can be hard to keep track of the big life-changing stories. While Elite may have began with motocross bikes, we have morphed into many different competitions. While offering everyday people a chance to own and drive supercars they never would have been able to otherwise will always be at the foundation of what we do, we cannot ignore our house competitions.

If you were to ask any of the staff here at Elite what their favourite moments are, it’s always getting our next house winner. Making someone mortgage free for less than a £5 is one of the most special parts of what we do.

As we approach the end of our seventh property giveaway (and can we say, it’s a corker!). It’s a six-bedroom, £350,000 house right next to Blackpool Pleasure Beach…yes you heard us right! Six bedrooms! It’s time we look back at the previous six house winners and let you know who you could be joining if you were to win this next one.

Most recently, in July of this year, we’ve had Andy Raynor. He won our £250,000 house in Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire. Andy, who had been working overseas, was looking for a way to move back home full-time, and this win has accelerated his plans. He viewed the house in early July and very quickly decided he wanted to take the house over the cash alternative.

Rewinding further back to 1st January 2024, Andrew Clark won our two-bedroom Manchester apartment. He and his wife were expecting their second child, and after much back-and-forth, they decided to take the apartment over the cash alternative. Their long term plans? Enjoy it for a while, use it as a second home, and then eventually sell it and use the funds to build their own dream home down the line.

October 2023 saw Max Fox and his husband moving into our Poulton-le-Fylde bungalow. Max had already got himself on the property ladder, but they have now moved in full-time to the bungalow and are living out their lives mortgage-free.

Back in the summer, specifically August of 2023 brought the life-changing story of Kerry Crompton to Elite Competitions. She had never played with us before, but saw we were raffling off a house and created an account. After spending £30 on tickets, she received the call from our very own marketing manager Ryan that her life was going to change forever. She viewed the three-bedroom house in Blackpool with the Elite team and her family, but opted for the £200,000 cash alternative. Since then, she’s bought her and her daughter their dream home closer to their family.

That’s not also forgetting Chad Cole and Daniel Hazel, who won our first and second ever house competitions. Back then, Elite Competitions was a very different company - we looked different and didn't have as many staff! That being said, both Chad and Daniel opted for a mega cash alternative and this was able to help them and their respective families.

While the competition industry has changed since we began, and you may see other house competitions online, we pride ourselves in offering affordable houses for normal, everyday people. Customer satisfaction is at the forefront of everything we do, and if you’re ever in a position where you become one of our lucky winners and meet our team, we hope you see that too.

When our director, Alex, set out to create this company, even he had no idea how much it would grow.

Commenting on the last six years, Alex can’t help but be immensely proud of the team and what has been accomplished. “Seeing the business grow every day and month has just been really satisfying,” Alex said, “And we’re getting new players every day who are signing up and winning prizes. I just want to make the competitions bigger and better each month while keeping it as cheap as possible and having great odds.”

Our latest house competition, at the time of writing, still has time left to grab tickets if you haven’t already. This one is big…a £350,000 house or £300,000 in your bank: that’s the decision one person will have to make. Could it be you?
