Elite Competitions Teams Up with Boathouse Youth to Create the Ultimate Christmas Party

At Elite Competitions, we believe in supporting our local community and inspiring the next generation. Recently, we partnered with the fantastic charity Boathouse Youth to revisit our Dragons' Den roots – and the result was an unforgettable experience!

Young Creatives Pitch Their Ultimate Christmas Party Ideas

We welcomed 20 young people from Boathouse Youth to the Elite Competitions HQ, where they were challenged to pitch their ideas for the ultimate Christmas party. With £10,000 on the line, our Managing Director Alex and Operations Manager Tom stepped into the roles of Dragons, ready to hear their creative proposals.

The pitches were outstanding. Ideas ranged from a festive festival featuring food vans and party food to a silent disco with DJs, branded hoodies, and fluffy socks as party favours. The creativity, teamwork, and enthusiasm from both teams were truly inspiring.

Combining the Best Ideas for a Christmas to Remember

Faced with two fantastic proposals, the Dragons decided to merge the best elements of both ideas. The result? A one-of-a-kind Christmas party that combines fun, food, music, and festive magic – set to be the most memorable celebration in Boathouse Youth’s history.

“We’re not just planning a party,” said Alex, Managing Director of Elite Competitions. “We’re giving these young people a chance to think creatively, work together, and see their ideas come to life. It’s an honour to support such a fantastic initiative.”
